Katie Johnson has been accepted into the Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies at Waseda University in Tokyo to pursue her master’s degree in International Relations. While her major is Political Science, her interest in Japanese led her to take Japanese courses at DEALL and apply for a study abroad program at Rikkyo University. What started as one semester experience turned into three, where she fell in love with the culture, the people, and of course, the food. She says, "I am thankful to my professors for their continued support, guidance, and belief in me.
