DEALL Buckeyes Presented at 2025 CHINOPERL as part of AAS

A number of DEALL Buckeyes returned to Columbus to attend the 2025 annual meeting of the Association for Asian Studies (AAS) in March. Among the organizations that host their annual conference in conjunction with AAS is the Chinese Oral and Performing Literature (CHINOPERL) (中國演唱文藝研究會), which held its event on Thursday, 13 March 2025, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

We are delighted that a total of 7 presentations were delivered at CHINOPERL by current and past DEALLers in the U.S. and abroad (UK and China). This marks the largest group of DEALL Buckeyes presenting at a single CHINOPERL conference event in its history since its founding in 1969!
