The 2024 JASCO Speech Contest was held at the University of Cincinnati on March 23. Three students from DEALL's Japanese program, Ms. Ella Jewell, Ms. Alexandria McBride, and Mr. Yemin Wong, participated as finalists and gave wonderful speeches.

At the end of the contest, Ms. Jewell was awarded the second prize.

 

Ms. Ai Terada and Prof. Etsuyo Yuasa, who helped them practice before the event, as well as Prof. Mineharu Nakayama and Ms. Kelly Harless were there to root for them.
